Production
At Verticam, we pride ourselves on the quality of our pre-coated mouldings, which are manufactured right here in Brantford. First, CNC technology is used to cut the 8’ raw foam core (expanded polystyrene). Secondly, an adhesive mesh is wrapped around the profile to give it added flexibility. Thirdly, and most importantly, the pre-cut meshed core goes through an extrusion process, where a polymer modified cement is evenly applied to it. A second coat is usually applied to fill any imperfections and to ensure crisp corners and fine finished detail. The finished result is a lightweight, durable yet flexible decorative moulding, that is ready for installation and paint.
Custom Orders
By adding something unique to any project, it can really set it apart and stand out. To achieve this, we offer custom arches, caps and bases, and even circular wall trim or bows. If it can be imagined, we appreciate the opportunity to make it a reality. Even by starting with a simple sketch or an old existing profile, we can guarantee a CAD made to match. This can easily be put into production, to replicate an existing moulding or to produce something completely custom.
